Englewood Elementary in northeast Salem went into lockdown on Sept.

16 during pickup when police responded to a vehicle theft near 23rd Street and Windsor Avenue NE (officials confirmed the lockdown ended at 2:55 p.m. and that students and bus riders remained safe).
