Stayton Fire District responded to a 4-acre grass fire near Santiam Loop Southeast and Stayton Road Southeast at 1 p.m. June 12—caused by a tractor raking hay—and firefighters from Aumsville, Turner, Sublimity and Jefferson helped put the blaze out without any injuries or damage to structures.
