A series of yoga events will run from Sept.
5 to Sept. 27, starting with a yoga + brunch at Lively at the Mill, followed by sessions at Riverfront Park, Cubanisimo Vineyard with yoga + wine, Prismatic with yoga + coffee, and a garden session. Participants can join an event.
Willamette University announced that lower income Oregon students can attend its undergraduate programs tuition-free through two noncompetitive scholarships for fall 2027.
The tuition waiver applies to Willamette College in Salem — Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland.
Salem Health Hospitals merged with Stayton-based Santiam Hospitals on Aug.
31, creating a network with 710 licensed beds and about 7,000 employees. CEO Cheryl Nester Wolfe remains in charge while Santiam Hospital will continue operating with Maggie Hudson on its board — the merger follows recent financial challenges at Santiam.
