The milestone (recognized by local officials) supports improved access to reading materials and resources for community members.
On Friday, July 17, neighbors began a community mural at the intersection of Northeast 21st and Nebraska streets near Englewood Park using bright pink, orange, yellow, green, purple and blue paint; local children will help finish the project this weekend while the intersection remains closed.
