TikTok influencer Alicia Soto’s south Salem home hosted loud parties over recent weeks that disturbed neighbors and led to police citations and warnings.

At a community meeting on July 9, Soto apologized and promised to stop the gatherings as officials consider measures to curb the nuisance.

Verrus is planning a new data center campus in Mill Creek Corporate Center (near Turner Road SE and Deer Park Drive SE) where its project would bring over $5 billion in investment and at least 75 permanent jobs, as residents raise concerns about power, water use, noise and trees.
