- ➤ Multiple arrests were made yesterday, June 26, at Willamette Town Center when officers—working with loss prevention staff—detained 11 individuals for retail theft, with several facing prior felony warrants. 1430 KYKN

- ➤ A free webinar series honoring 35 years of disability civil rights will begin on July 8 and take place every Tuesday in July from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pacific Time — the Oregon Disabilities Commission with its partners will host discussions on educational and employment access and provide Spanish translation, captioning and ASL interpretation. 1430 KYKN
- ➤ The Oregon Legislature ended its 2025 session on June 27 by passing many bills that include record school funding, over $79.2 million to clear a case backlog at the labor agency, new housing rules, reforms to civil commitment, and a gun control measure to ban rapid-fire weapons — all reached after long votes. Gov. Tina Kotek has 30 days to sign or veto the bills, and lawmakers left nearly 40 other bills unfinished. Statesman Journal
