- ➤ City of Salem Public Works is beginning to strengthen four bridges today to allow heavier trucks to safely cross local waterways using (Safety and Livability Bond) funds; the projects include work on Liberty Street NE over Mill Creek, 17th Street NE, 15th Street NE and Mission Street SE. Workers will close lanes for equipment staging as traffic delays are expected through November. 1430 KYKN
