Salem Public Works crews will begin strengthening four bridges tomorrow when work starts on the Liberty Street Northeast bridge over Mill Creek; lane and street closures on 15th, 17th, and Mission Streets will allow crews to stage equipment and support heavier trucks — projects funded by the Safety and Livability Bond will continue until November as officials advise drivers and pedestrians to use caution near work zones.
