Salem’s Budget Committee will reconvene on May 28 to consider amendments to the Fiscal Year 2026 Proposed Budget after voter approval of a five-year local option levy on Tuesday.

Interim City Manager Krishna Namburi said the revisions will restore funding for library services, parks, recreation programs and Center 50+ and the City Council will review the updated budget on June 9.
