  • On Wednesday, May 20, cyclists will join a silent ride to honor those injured or killed on Salem roads. The ride starts at 6 p.m. at the parking lot at Northeast Marion and Capitol streets and moves through downtown and across the Willamette River — emphasizing the need for safer traffic.  Salem Reporter

  • The Oregon Employment Department released its bilingual 2026 Careers magazine yesterday to help students and job seekers explore career options. The publication offers 40 articles, practical tips, labor-market data, and a student activity guide, and educators can order free print copies (in Salem).  1430 KYKN
  • Voters in Aumsville and Turner decide today on a $30M bond to repair roofs and upgrade HVAC systems at six Cascade School District schools. The measure will maintain property owner payments at $1.09 per $1,000 while also qualifying the district for over $10M in state funds (if approved).  Statesman Journal
