- ➤ Youth runners competed in the annual Awesome 3000 fun run yesterday at Bush’s Pasture Park and McCulloch Stadium to raise funds for Salem-Keizer schools (children from first to fifth grade raced while parents and volunteers cheered on). Statesman Journal
- ➤ Over 2,000 students participated in the Awesome 3000 fun run Saturday, May 16 at Bush's Pasture Park. The race, starting and ending at McCulloch Stadium, raised funds to provide grants for local schools and welcomed runners of all ages. Salem Reporter

- ➤ WorkSource Oregon launched three mobile service centers to bring free career support to rural communities. The vans, equipped with workstations and secure internet access (visiting each region two days a month), offer personalized job coaching for all, including veterans. 1430 KYKN
