Marion Polk Food Share announced its distribution center delivered about 25,000 pounds of food to 36 food pantries to support local residents—helping meet community needs.

Salem will introduce a pay-by-plate street parking system downtown on July 1 that uses the Beep Beep Salem app at city pay stations (Airport and Capitol Mall); site work will begin on June 1 and parking garages will remain free for customers and visitors.
