- ➤ The Union Gospel Mission’s Simonka Place in Keizer completed a $2.6 million renovation in early March that added childcare area, private rooms and security improvements for homeless women and children, raising capacity from 84 to 93 beds. - ➤ West Salem Urban Renewal Area updated its Capital Improvement Grant Program on March 11 to offer flexible funding for business retention, expansion and relocation — Councilor Paul Tigan said the changes aim to boost local job growth and attract private investment. 1430 KYKN
- ➤ Launch Mid-Valley will host a three-day startup bootcamp from March 27-29 at T.J. Day Hall on the Linfield University campus in McMinnville.
