- ➤ North Fork Road was closed on Feb. 23 at milepost 4.5 north of Lyons due to a landslide from heavy rains, and a Marion County public works crew responded while police advised drivers to use alternate routes. Statesman Journal

- ➤ State agriculture officials are piloting three regional food and ag business centers — linking USDA RFSI funds with local technical support — to boost supply chain capacity as farmers face financial strains amid a stalled farm bill reauthorization. Salem Business Journal
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Oregon lawmakers passed Senate Bill 1598 on Thursday, Feb. 19, which grants the public health officer power to issue standing orders for vaccines based on evidence-based guidance and requires insurers to cover the recommended immunizations. Salem Reporter
- ➤ Cherriots launched a new, cloud-based Transit Signal Priority system on Lancaster Drive on Feb. 5 to improve Route 11 reliability by activating it at 22 intersections (cutting delays and easing operator work).
