- ➤ Dan Clem will become the executive director of the Keizer Chamber of Commerce, beginning Feb. 9 after months of interim leadership. He brings experience from city council and a local nonprofit, and the board expects him to strengthen business ties and community advocacy. Salem Business Journal

- ➤ Ashland Sen. Jeff Golden reintroduced his Climate Superfund Bill at a Thursday hearing in the Senate Natural Resources and Wildfire Committee; the bill would require oil companies (Exxon Mobil, Chevron, and others) to pay for disaster damages from climate change so funds can support wildfire prevention and adaptation across Oregon.
