What better way for your child to get into the Christmas spirit than by decking the halls of the Monteith House? Our annual Children's Pioneer Christmas Party is held in conjunction with the Albany Twice Around Christmas Parade. The party will be at the Monteith House Museum. The children will sing carols, make a pioneer Christmas ornament, decorate the Christmas tree in the parlor, and enjoy gingerbread cookies and apple cider.
Children must be at least six years old to attend. The activities are geared towards children in first through sixth grade.
The Pioneer Christmas Party will end at 4:30 PM to allow families to make their way to the Albany Twice Around Christmas Parade route and enjoy the community festivities. If the parade route goes by the Monteith House, families are welcome to sit on the front porch of the house to view the parade.
Restrictions:
This party and the activities are geared towards children that are first grade through sixth grade. Children must be at least 6 years old to attend.
