About this event
MARION COUNTY CHAPTER MEETING/TRAINING
This event was inspired by a PRO member who
suggested a craft night.
Training Title: Creating Classroom Materials That Work
Training description: We will incorporate
fun ways to make and create sensory materials for your programs
that calm kids. This night will be a free make and take sewing
and craft night. Sensory bins examples. Sewing and craft
materials provided. You can craft or sew anything you want; it
doesn’t have to be an item for your early learning program. We
will have topic discussions on fidgets, calming baskets, restless
energy. Balancing brain and self-regulation handouts. All while
keeping the spirit of a craft night!
CKC: UGB Set 1 2 hours
Facilitators:
We welcome anyone who would like to host a chapter meeting at their early learning site. Please let us know, we would love the opportunity to come to your early learning program!
